 I'm Gillian

   What started as a hobby became a passion and then a way of life. I've been obsessed with taking photos since the moment my grandma and I found an old polaroid camera at an auction when I was in high school. As a self-taught artist from a young age, pursuing creativity as my long-term career was all I ever wanted. While in college I interned as a graphic designer & content creator and honed my skills both in front of and behind the camera.

   After graduating I worked as a professional photographer for a marketing agency in Chicago, shooting for brands like Hulu, David's Bridal, and White Claw. Then my partner Dakota and I decided to leave Illinois for a new adventure in Rapid City, South Dakota. I still can't believe how beautiful this area is and how much this change of scenery inspires my work! There's nothing better than getting to photography beautiful people in this beautiful place.
